Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Highlights: The Annapurna circuit is the most popular trek in Nepal and understandably so. The trek features relatively gentle ascents and a dramatic variety of scenery as you pass from lush green subtropical valleys with villages and terraced farming to an alpine moonscape as you pass Annapurna base camp, the highest elevation of the trip (4130m; 13,546ft). Most importantly, the trek gives you access to views of 14 different peaks over 7,000 meters (22,965 ft.).

Trip Summary: Explore Kathmandu world heritage sites, Durbar square and Swayambhunath stupa before whisking you to scenic mountain drive to lakeside, Pokhara. Eleven days trek along the Annapurna route (locally dubbed as “steps to heaven”) as the trail changes from rich sub tropical to austere alpine climate in matter of days. The route includes hike through lush green forest of Ghorepani, sunrise view of Annapurna ranges at Poon Hill and trek to the amazing Annapurna Sanctuary. Explore the incredible valley, with rich ecosystem and amazing mountain views. With sheer view of Himalayan ranges, and friendly Gurung people, it is no surprise Annapurna remains the most popular trek in Nepal.

Though there is a low risk of altitude sickness, this trek has been
designed to allow for acclimatization.
